Baretich Engineering was established in 1997 by Matthew F. Baretich, P.E., Ph.D. Our mission is to apply engineering and management principles to improve technology-related aspects of healthcare delivery and patient care.
Baretich Engineering is based in Fort Collins, Colorado. We work throughout the Rocky Mountain region, across the United States, and internationally. We work with healthcare facilities of all sizes to develop appropriately-scaled solutions. We helped Gunnison Valley Hospital, a critical access hospital, establish an Environment of Care program for its successful achievement of Joint Commission accreditation. We have also worked with the University of Michigan Health System on inventory systems, Vanderbilt Medical Center on clinical engineering support, the VA Central California Health Care System on life safety, and the San Francisco VAMC on Joint Commission standards compliance..
To carry out large scale projects, Baretich Engineering builds high quality teams. For AAMI's Benchmarking Solution, we assembled a team of subject matter experts that includes the top researchers in clinical engineering benchmarking. We have also worked with Technology in Medicine on CE-IT convergence, the CPI Group on equipment and facility planning, and Hospital Shared Services on clinical engineering and facility engineering support services.
